Description

Stranded colorwork hood is worked in the round with clever increases and decreases to achieve the right shape.

Details

Finished Size: 34 (37½, 40¼, 43, 45¾, 48¾, 52¼)" bust circumference, buttoned. Sweater shown measures 37½", modeled with 4" of ease 
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpacas Suri Merino (60% baby suri, 40% merino; 164 yd [150 m] /3½ oz [100 g]): #418 dusk (MC), 7 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10) skeins; #416 meadow (A), #420 autumn (B), #415 harvest (C), and #417 seamist (D), 1 skein each.
Yarn Weight: #3 - Light 
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 24" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 5 (3.75 mm): 40" cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; waste yarn; six ¾" buttons.
Gauge: 23 sts and 30 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles; 23 sts and 24 rows = 4" in colorwork patt on larger needles.
