Painting Light DVD review

Very professional. Camille Prezwodek does a fine job explaining Henry Hensche's "block" studies. She explains, better than I've ever heard anyone, how to paint a black & white block in light. Once you understand the idea, you can do it yourself. She also demonstrates, in pigment, how to make a blue block look like the sun is hitting it, not easy to do. The way she enriches her illusions of reality with absolutely beautiful (truthful) paint mixtures is so simply astonishing and intoxicating.
I've been devoted to the Hensche method since 1974 and am content the Camille is passing on Henry's ideas in a way that would make him proud.
Camille has developed into both a teacher and artist that truly has great value in helping others to see they can develop the habits that make beautiful paintings, but it won't be overnight. Her mature lessons help people to learn the method that will open a life of being able to grow as a colorist, and that's a wonderful thing.
