This interwoven structure of crystal bicones and charlotte seed beads is a variation of the spiral rope stitch. Worked with too few stitches to form a spiral, rows are left flat and worked with shared beads, creating a mysterious undulating texture. Beware what these shadows hide. Liz thanks her friend, and master beader, Corinne Loomer, for helping her master the stitches used in this project.
Required Materials: Black charlottes, bicones, sliding clasp, braided beading thread. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: br> Needles, scissors. See project for complete list.
Techniques Used: Spiral Stitch

When I first saw this, I told myself, "Self, you HAVE to make this"! I''m new to beading, and am mostly into bead embroidery, but this was too pretty to pass up. I have to say that for an intermediate beginner, this was a very worthwhile project. A little awkward to start and awkward on the start of the next row, but now that I''ve done it it''ll be a snap to do again in other colors! I''ll probably end up with loads of these beautiful bracelets! I will caution anyone who hasn''t worked with size 15 beads...they''re a bugger. And, to top it all off, charlottes are not that easy to find, and are very NOT uniform in size. I spent 50% of my time discarding beads I couldn''t even fit over a size 15 needle.
