Long ago, in the dawn mists of the East China Sea, a red and gold dragon was born from the union of sea and sky. His body was covered with red matte scales, his crest and tail gleamed with gems, and his claws were tipped with gold. He was lonely. "I need a companion," thought the dragon. So he searched out craftspeople all over the world, looking for one who could make a friend for him.

I made this pretty fellow in blue and silver. The project was in one of your magazines several years ago (sorry, it''s been long enough that I don''t remember) I oooh''d and ahhh''d enough that the beads were a birthday present especially for this project.
Making him stand up took a stronger wire run along the body, but other than that the directions were easy to follow and he came out beautifully. I have him in a display box that looks like a cave, with a pile of beads for his treasure.
