Project Details
Sisters Silvija and Taya Koschnick create jewelry with a signature aged look, achieved by using metal chain, findings, and wire that has been chemically oxidized using liver of sulfur, a chemical that, the sisters insist, is quite easy to use. Download includes instructions for 5 projects (Jeweled Chain necklace, Refashioned Quartz necklace, Chained Labradorite necklace, Au Natural bracelet, Coconut Orbits earrings), plus tips and instructions on how to darken silver with liver-of-sulfer.
Materials List
Required Materials: Liver of sulfur "rocks", water, toothbrush, dish soap, rubber gloves, electric kettle, spoons, glass cup, bowl, pan, jar w/lid, abrasives, mask, button pearl, rondelle, rectangle, discs, ovals, ear wires, pearl, briolette, lobster clasp, head pin, jump rings, flat ring, chain, wire.
