The interlinking rings of metal known as chain mail were a standard component of medieval armor. Here the designer has used the same centuries-old technique in a substantial miser's bag. The beads coordinate with the handmade brass and lapis lazuli finger ring used as part of the bag's unique bar closure.
Required Materials: Brass bell-pull hardware with brass rounds, brass jump rings, oval link chain, larger ring, lapis lazuli beads, bead caps, head pins. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: Chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, wire cutters, cardboard. See project for complete list.
Techniques Used: Chain Maille, Wirework
Finished Size: 2 1/2" ??? 7 1/2"
