The netted petals in this necklace are based on a pattern the designer devised more than twenty years ago and found again in an old notebook. Fittingly, she used the rediscovered technique in her homage to the past: a collar with pretty brick-stitched flowers, meant to evoke the opulence of eighteenth-century costume.
