Moroccian inspired earrings.
Bookmark and Share
This chandelier-basket-earring design was inspired by the kaleidoscope-like patterns of Moroccian tile work. The earrings combine beaded three-dimensional triangles to create a hexagon shape, and crystal bicones are woven into the crevices to join the modular triangles.
Required Materials: Seed beads, cylindar beads, crystal bicones, potatoe pearls, cube beads, ear wires, beading thread. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: Beading needles, scissors, chain nose pliers. See project for complete list.
Techniques Used: Stringing

I made these earrings. Easy, but a big mistake not to use fireline or some sort of stiff stringing material. They just flopped downward. If you are going to make these, use say fireline 4 or 6 pound.
