The term "Trypillian" takes its name from the Neolithic people who lived in the area of Ukraine from 5,000 to 2,500 b.c. Their pottery was quite advanced in its craft and design, which was usually three colors: white and
black against a red clay background. This necklace was inspired by the remarkable work of these ancient people.
