Crochet Digital Products

When it comes to crochet, I have been accused of lacking patience. That's why crochet eBooks, crochet CD collections, crochet downloads and crochet digital magazines are the right resources for me. The actual hours of crocheting pass all too quickly, but waiting for a new magazine, book, or DVD to arrive on my doorstep always passes agonizingly slowly. I want the satisfaction of immediately beginning a new project or pressing play on a new DVD. So my new favorite products are digital versions which can be downloaded to my computer instantly.

On my computer you will find several Crochet Me Workshop DVDs, including Robyn Chachula's Design Your Own Baby Sweater and Design Your Own Crocheted Hat as well as Mosaic Crochet with Lily Chin. And because these workshops live on my computer, they travel with me. When I found myself with a free hour while on vacation, I pulled out my crochet and computer and picked up a few more tips on hat design from Robyn—a doubly productive use of my time.

The number of crochet eBooks organized in my computer folders is also increasing, slowing the growth on my already overcrowded bookshelves. Some of these digital books are replacement copies of worn out, damaged, or out of print volumes such as the Compendium of Finishing Techniques. Now I can quickly refer to my eBook version for step-by-step illustrations for creating a 6 strand braid or for a refresher on working Bosnian crochet.

But my favorite products are the digital patterns and crochet digital magazine issues. More than once I have misplaced a pattern. This usually led to a frantic hour of searching or occasionally to my picking up another copy of the misplaced magazine. Now I enjoy the reassurance that I can instantly print a new copy of the pattern or consult my computer should a pattern be lost or damaged. You will also find all of the back issues on my computer, ready for easy access if I want to look up an old article on shaping or Tunisian crochet in the round.

While I will always appreciate the feel of a book in my hands or the satisfaction of turning each page as I leaf through a new magazine, I am a convert to the instant downloading satisfaction and reliability of digital products.
