The size of these bowls can vary depending on the size of your yarn. Make a small bowl for trinkets or a large bowl for a stunning table topper.
Finished Size: Small bowl measures about 8" in diameter and 2¾" tall; large bowl measures 11" in diameter and 4" tall.
Gauge: For smaller bowl (size 10 thread): First 5 rnds = 3" in diameter, unblocked. For larger bowl: (size 3 thread), first 5 rnds = 4½" in diameter, unblocked. Gauge is not critical, but will affect the finished size of your bowls. See pattern for full listing.
Hook: Size B/1 (2.25 mm) hook (for small bowl), size D/3 (3.25 mm) hook (for large bowl). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge
