You can come and play with colors as you crochet this granite stitch children's cardigan. Three bright and cheerful hues are perfect for boys and girls alike. For a different look, you can replace these colors with three soft pastels, three neutrals, or three earth tones.
Finished Size: 25 1/2 (27 1/2, 29 1/2, 30 1/2)" chest circumference, to fit 2 (4, 6, 8) years old. Garment shown measures 27 1/2".
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Encore Worsted (75% acrylic, 25% wool; 200 yds [183 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]; CYCA-standard yarn weight system-4): #4045 blue (A), 1 (2, 2, 2) skeins; #0174 red (B), 1 (1, 2, 2) skeins; #0054 green (C), 1 (1, 2, 2) skeins.
Yarn weight: #4 - Medium
Gauge: 16 sts and 16 rows = 4" in granite st with larger hook.
Needles: Hooks: Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
