I just finished 5 pairs of these in red, white and green. The idea is for the giftee to wear them on Christmas morning. I wish I had started earlier.Everyone who sees them wants a pair, and tomorrow is Christmas Eve. The stores were short on red white and green yarn, so I used inexpensive worsted weight I found at the craft store. Fairly easy, but probably not for a real beginner. I used a smaller hook for the final border, helps keep them on.
