About Interweave Digital Video Downloads
PLEASE NOTE: These instructions are provided as a courtesy for our customers. Interweave does not provide technical support for video playback software or devices.
When you purchase a digital video download from Interweave, the file you download will be an MPEG-4 video (MP4). We use this format because it is the most widely compatible format available today and plays on Mac, PC, and many popular mobile devices.
For playback on either Mac or PC, we recommend you use either Apple QuickTime or Apple iTunes software. Both are free and may be downloaded by clicking either of the icons below.
To Play Your Video Using QuickTime
- Make sure Apple QuickTime is installed on your computer.
- Download the Interweave video file to a place on your computer where you can easily find it.
- Open the folder on your computer where you downloaded the video.
- Double-click on the video.
- The QuickTime Player should automatically start and load your video.
- Click the “Play” button and your video will begin.
- You can adjust the volume, pause, rewind, and fast-forward the video using the controls at the bottom of the video player.

To Import Your Video into iTunes
- Make sure Apple iTunes is installed on your computer.
- Download the Interweave video file to a place on your computer where you can easily find it.
- Start iTunes.
- Under the File menu, select Add File to Library…

- Locate the folder where you downloaded the video file, click on the video file to select it, then click Open.

- iTunes will copy the file into your iTunes library. This may take a minute or so. NOTE: iTunes actually makes a copy of your video file and store it in its own library. If you want to save space on your computer, you may delete the original file that you downloaded. The full video will remain within iTunes and you may access it there from then on.
- You will now find your video in the Movies section within iTunes.

- To play the movie, just click on the Movies section, then double-click on the video you want to play. The video will begin playing automatically.
- Use the controls at the top of the page to adjust the volume, pause, fast-forward, or rewind. If you put your cursor over the video as it is playing, the same controls also appear below the video. IMPORTANT: To close the video and get back to your list, put the cursor over the video. A white X will appear in the upper-right corner. Click this to close the video.

To Play Your Video on Your iPod
- You must have a video-capable iPod (Nano, Classic, or Touch).
- Follow the instructions above to import your video into iTunes.
- Connect your iPod to your computer as you normally would.
- iTunes should automatically copy your video files to your iPod. These are large files, so it may take a minute or so for each video to copy.
- If your video files do not transfer automatically, then within iTunes:
- Click on your iPod device.
- Click on the Movies tab.
- Make sure Sync Movies is checked and All movies is also selected.
- Also, make sure you have enough memory on your iPod to transfer the files.

6. Disconnect your iPod.
7. To play your video, go to the Video section of your iPod and click on the video you want to view.
