I just love Helen's confident, laid back, style of teaching. I consider myself an advanced beginner in metalsmithing and was thrilled to find that Helen's instruction moved at just the right pace; not so slow as to be boring and not too fast as to overwhelm a beginning student. Many of us don't have the luxury of attending local metalsmithing classes. Thank you, Helen, for sharing your knowledge and a bit of yourself with us.

Three cheers for video downloads. I only wish the store had 'downloadable' as a category when searching. This introduction to basic metalworking skills (not including soldering- which would fill a 2 hour class on its own) is terrific. Easy to follow, good visuals, I would recommend this for any jewelry artist who is self-taught or even has had some face to face instruction. I learned something or picked up a tip in every section. If you are a 'show me' learner like I am, this is a great addition to your library. I hope Helen Driggs produces many more video classes like this in the future.
