Here's another necklace style I hadn't given much thought in the past: the matinee-length necklace. This size necklace lies nicely on the chest and works well with most tops.
It is worth pointing out that this particular necklace is a chain made entirely of seed beads. Each link is composed of three rings of seed beads that are connected to another set of three seed-bead rings, and so on. Though the piece is admittedly time consuming to make, the finished product rivals any metal chain necklace. And look on the bright side: with eighty-one crimp tubes to crimp, you'll get really good at crimping!
Required Materials: Seed beads, crimp tubes, S-clasp with rings, beading wire
Tools: Wire cutters, Crimping pliers
Finished Size: 25" (63.5 cm)
