The motifs are presented in a directory of different shapes and textures. The book also includes smaller blocks to join them together as well as edging ideas to add finishing touches. Pros:
  • Beautiful pictures
  • clear illustrations
Cons:
  • Need to be experienced in crochet
This is a great book with lovely ideas if you are an expert at crocheting. If not, it is a very difficult book to follow. There is a stitch abbreviation chart towards the back of the book. However, it is missing so much information. Perhaps if I had more experience reading crochet patterns it would be obvious to me. I've spent way too much time researching how to do stitches online and not enough time crocheting the pretty patterns in this book. If you are already very experienced, I would recommend this book - otherwise, get lots more practice first.
