Knitting Magazines

I’m a collector and one of my favorite things to collect is knitting magazines. I love getting a fresh, crisp knit magazine in the mail or finding a new issue on the newsstand.

The first thing I do, usually while standing next to the mailbox, is flip through the magazine to see what’s there at a glance. Then, when I have a chance to sit down with a cup of coffee, I look at the magazine in-depth. I keep some post-it notes in the basket next to my place on the couch and almost all of my knitting magazines are littered with them.

I’m lucky enough to get advance copies of all of the Interweave knitting magazines and after I have my alone-time with them, I take them to my knitting group and they get to see what’s new and exciting. By the time they’re done, my crisp, clean magazines are well-loved and -thumbed. But that’s what they’re for, right? To be used.

And all of Interweave’s knitting magazines— Interweave Knits, Knitscene, and Piecework—are meant to be used and loved for years to come.
