My local yarn store owner recommended this issue when I was having trouble finding a simple sock tutorial that had good pictures. The sock tutorial shows step by step pictures for turning the heel and completing a sock which as a beginner sock knitter was extremely helpful. There are also some cute sock patterns to try after you get the hang of the basics. It also has some great basic patterns for hats, scarves and other accessories, it's definitely a great resource.
Being new to Interweave Knits I found this to be a great collection of patterns, easy to understand and clearly presented, complete with useful technique tips.
Very unhappy. These patterns I already have from previous magazines. Lots of money for nothing.
I got a copy of this yesterday and was not impressed. Lots of the patterns are the same stitch (little arrowhead) and they are reruns of others already published (example the mittens for the entire family chart_/
For the price, considering it was so much of what has already been printed, it was not worth it.
IK seems to be following a trend where taking things from old issues, making into a new one and then charging high prices is becoming the norm.
