1. So what is Sockupied?
Sockupied is a dynamic digital product called an eMag that you can download onto your computer and enjoy on or offline. Sockupied includes articles, videos, gallery slideshows of knitted socks, hyperlinks to inspiring and informative websites, and so much more. With just the click of your mouse, you can open and play videos, view slideshows, and navigate easily around the eMag.
2. How is Sockupied different from the digital edition of Interweave Knits Magazine?
Sockupied is an entirely unique product that focuses on sock knitting. Unlike the digital editions of Interweave Knits, which are exact digital replications of the print editions, Sockupied was developed solely as a digital product so that it can capitalize on all the benefits of online media capabilities, including videos, slideshows, zoom options that enable you to see close-ups of stitches, patterns that can be downloaded and printed, abilities to hyperlink to special sites, and so much more.
3. Will Sockupied be available as a print magazine?
Because this was built as a digital product, it will not be printed as a traditional magazine; however, you can certainly print each of the pages. In fact, we hope you will! For instance, you’ll want to print the materials lists to stick in your bag the next time you go to your local yarn store.
4. Will Sockupied mean that Interweave Knits Magazine will stop printing?
Absolutely not! Sockupied is a fun, new addition to the Interweave Knits family.
5. I would like to better understand how to view and navigate this eMag. Is there a demo of it I could see in order to do so?
Yes! See the tutorial video below!
Download your eMag today and start your journey in sock knitting! Plus, your purchase of Sockupied includes an installation instruction and FAQ downlaod to walk you through step-by-step installation and trouble-shooting.

Good emag, liked the videos which make a emag more exciting than a regular magazine. Would have liked it to work with my ereader though so I can take it with me and not have to sit in front of my computer. Can't wait to have more time to knit socks.
I am enjoying SOCUPIED.It's great for browsing through. The value for money issue is different for international readers who have significant postal costs to consider. I bought the mag on "special" so am pleased with my buy. The concept is a good one.
I love e-mags I live in New Zealand, If I wait for the print copy it takes 1-2 months for it to arrive in the shop, I could order(and some times do) the print copy but the post is more than the mag making it $20+ NZ dollars and I still have to wait. So I love it if I can order it and have it with in a blink. Plus another thing is I don't have to find somewhere to store it. I just save it to my knitting patterns folder and its there when ever I need it. It a great thing and I am more happy with the price.
At roughly the price you would pay for a hard-copy magazine or soft-cover book, you get a digital sock magazine. The digital format should be making these things lower cost since the printing costs for hard media are eliminated and the distribution cost is virtually nothing - unfortunately that doesn''t seem to be the case here. Although the digital format is fun - this one isn''t quite at the point where it is completely transparent but it''s on a good path. The material included was fun and interesting - the incorporation of video is a plus. But as others have noted, the price is simply unreasonable for the content. The content would need to be about tripled at the same quality to justify the price.

I found the emag very easy to navigate; the videos are very well done and like many people... once I can see someone do a special technique or pattern; I can pick up on it fairly easily especially, if I have had trouble reading the pattern or graph. I have enjoyed the emag very much; opening the emag when I have many things I should be doing and when I have nothing to do:):):) Thank you Interweave for such a forward idea!
