The designer uses a big yarn for little people in her Biggy Print kid's cardigan.

The designer was drawn to this soft chunky yarn by its unusual qualities. It includes flecks of nearly every rainbow color, but reads as a subtle, almost neutral yarn, so it's a good choice for both girls and boys. The straight-forward, no-fuss style goes with just about anything - from jeans to a party dress. To offset the extra weight of the yarn, Kristin uses specific construction/design techniques to eliminate extra bulk: a minimum of seams, built-in buttons, and edgings worked in one piece with the body. Because it knits up quickly, the sweater is a perfect in-a-hurry project.
Finished Size: 28 (29 1/2, 32, 33 1/2)" (71 [75, 81.5, 85] cm) chest circumference, buttoned. Sweater shown measures 28" (71 cm).
