The designer revisits a classic silhouette in the Bubble Cable Dolman, adding deep ribbing at the waist and cuffs for shapely fit. Knit as one long piece from cuff to cuff, a luxurious merin/cashmere blend lends smooth drape to the heavily textured fabric.
Finished Size: 38?? (42 1/2, 50??, 57??, 62??)" bust circumference, measured at bustline between ends of sleeves. A positive ease of 7" to 9" is recommended for this project; size range is versatile but given sizes are roughly intended to fit actual bust sizes of 29??-31?? (33??-35??, 41??-43??, 48??-50??, 53??-55??)". Sweater shown measures 42??" and is modeled with about 8??" of ease.
Yarn: Karabella Margrite (80% merino, 20% cashmere; 154 yd [141 m]/50 g): #13 burgundy, 8 (9, 10, 12, 13) balls.
Yarn weight: #3 - Light
Gauge: 29 sts and 32 rows = 4" in bubbles patt from chart on larger needle.
Needles: Body and sleeves - size 6 (4 mm): circular longer than 29". Ribbed cuffs and lower border - size 5 (3.5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
