Super-easy - the striped scarf is worked in long rows horizontally, with garter edges to keep it from rolling. The hat is worked from the top down. Weave a ribbon through two columns of eyelets in back and then cinch and tie for a unique, ruched look. One ball of each of the seven colors is enough to make both!
