Finished Size: 32 (351⁄4, 391⁄2, 433⁄4, 48)" bust circumference; fronts will not meet in the middle (see Notes). Cardigan shown measures 351⁄4", modeled with about 1" positive ease.

Yarn: Savoy (52% silk, 48% merino; 108 yd [99 m]/50 g): #002 light taupe, 8 (9, 11, 12, 14) skeins.

Yarn Weight: #3 - Light

Needles: Body and sleeves—size 8 (5 mm): 16" and 29" circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 26 rows = 4" in St st; 20 sts and 26 rows = 4" in 1×1 rib; 24 sts and 26 rows = 4" in modified 3×1 rib, unstretched.
