A rectangular lace shawl is worked with an Estonian lace pattern. Seven-stitch nupps create textural interest, and a scalloped edging is worked around the perimeter of the shawl.

Center—size 3 (3.25 mm): 10" straight (bamboo or wood recommended). Lace edge—size 3 (3.25 mm): 32" circular (cir; bamboo or wood recommended). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
