This easy fickle-finger fringe adds pizzazz to a reversible, seed-stitch scarf in a rich textured and variegated yarn. The fingers are made as you go by knitting on stitches at the end of a row and immediately casting them off at the start of the next row. Make it long or keep it short-either way this colorful scarf will cheer you up when you throw it on.
Finished Size: About 7" (18 cm) wide with fringe, and 46" (117 cm) long.
Yarn: Zitron Ethno (85% merino, 15% nylon; 99 yd [90 m]/50 g): #10 multicolored, 2 balls. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Yarn weight: #5 - Bulky
Gauge: About 15 sts and 16 rows = 4" (10 cm) in seed st. Exact gauge is not critical.
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm).
Notions: Tapestry needle; pins for blocking.
