Three separate motifs in this mini cardigan, sized for an 18" doll. Complete with a turned-back shawl collar and carefully placed buttonholes, the tiny sweater is an exercise in craftsmanship that still knits up quickly.
Finished Size: 13 1/2" chest circumference, buttoned. To fit an 18" doll.
Yarn: Reynolds Revue (100% superwash wool; 112 yd [102 m]/50 g): #1404 khaki (MC), 2 balls; #1417 cadet and #1470 white, 1 ball each. Yarn distributed by JCA.
Yarn weight: #4 - Medium
Gauge: 26 sts and 36 rows = 4" in St st.
Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm): straight and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch holders or waste yarn; markers (m); tapestry needle; six 7/16" buttons.
