Finished Size: Wrist pincushion: 3½" diameter after felting; large pincushion: 5¼" diameter after felting. 
Yarn: Jagger Spun The Maine Line 2/8 (100% wool; 280 yd [256 m]/2 oz [57 g]): Wrist pincushion: mulberry or plum (MC), shale or willow (CC1) and curry or mulberry (CC2), 1 skein each. Large pincushion: curry (MC), marine blue (CC1), and plum (CC2), 1 skein each 
Yarn Weight: #2 - Fine 
Needles: Wrist pincushion: Size 6 (4 mm). Large pincushion: Size 10 (6 mm).  
Notions: Tapestry needle; polyester or bamboo fill; large hair elastic for wrist pincushions.
Gauge: Wrist pincushion: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4" in St st, before felting, on smaller needles. Large pincushion: 14 sts and 20 rows = 4" in St st using yarn doubled, before felting, on larger needles. Gauge is not crucial for this project.
