Cons:
I made this hat out of extra worsted in olive and it came out quite nice. The pattern is easy to follow. I had only made 1 hat before this one but had no trouble. I like the attached scarf. I found the scarf a bit boring after awhile, but you really need the length for a complete wrap, so I made a few rows of seed stitch on the ends for variety. You could easily make a narrow cable, too. Good pattern.

Pros:
  • easy style
  • comfortable
Cons:
I made this hat and attatched scarf a few years ago, and love it when it really gets cold. You never worry about losing your scarf or having it slip off your shoulders. I used two strands of a worsted yarn held together that I had in my stash. It worked out great and the guage wasn''t a problem.
