A lacy-mesh cardigan is worked in a simple 1-row Purse Stitch repeat. In nautical navy, with wide ribbing and a ribbed patch pocket borrowed from the boys, it aspires to a Rosie-the-Riveter retro chic.

Finished Size: Small (Medium, Large, XL) to fit Bust: 34 (39, 44, 50)"/86.5 (99, 112, 127)cm. Length: 16.5 (17.5, 20, 21)"/42 (44.5, 51, 53.5)cm.

Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham New Birch (65% cotton, 35% silk; 98 yd [90m]/50g): #10 navy, 7 (9, 11, 13) balls.

Yarn weight: #4 - Medium

Gauge:
18 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in K3, p2 rib and 12 sts and 22 rows in Purse stitch, both using #7 needles.

Needles: Size 7 (4 .5mm) circular, 29"/74cm long. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
