- Double Burden Stitch, a gold work technique done with fun threads
- Burden Stitch Variation, a variation of the burden stitch used with the same threads as band #4
- Raised Couching, a raised effect is created by using braid as padding that is then couched over, also called basket couching.
- Gobelin Motifs, an openwork band using two strands of floss in an over-under motif
- Paired Herringbone, a herringbone stitch using two similar colors of thread to create an optical illusion
- Pattern Couching, make a diagonal couching design using gold thread and three colors of floss
- Lattice Couching, made by first laying a foundation band and then stitch a herringbone on top
- Alternating V Stitch, a resting band with an easy V motif
