- Freezer paper, cut 8.5 inches x 11 inches
- Light colored fabric, cut approximately 10 inches x 12 inches
- Iron & ironing board
- Light table
- Pigma® Micron® 005 pen or a mechanical pencil
- Choice of mediums: pen, pencil, pastels, crayon, paint, ink, thickened dye
FREEHAND PORTRAITS (ADVANCED)
- Photo
- Drawing paper and drawing pencil
- Light colored fabric, cut 8.5 inches x 11 inches
- Light table
- Pigma® Micron® 005 pen or a mechanical pencil
- Choice of mediums: pen, pencil, pastels, crayon, paint, ink, thickened dye
QUILTING YOUR PORTRAITS
- Heavy, clear plastic (like tablecloth material from a sewing store or template plastic, transparency film, or a report cover)
- Dry erase marker (or a Sharpie® with rubbing alcohol to remove lines later - test first)
- Quilt top, sandwiched with batting and backing
- Chalk pencil for marking quilt top
- Fine thread (such as invisible thread, 100-weight silk, or 60-weight polyester)

Very, very informative with great step-by-step instructions. The instructor was very thorough and I feel confident that I can now do portrait quilts. I recommend this DVD, or download, to anyone that is scared to do "faces!"
Awesome video! Very informative and easy to follow and understand. Granted, the host had a slight cold and kept snuffling, but that would be the ONLY downside of this video. It really gives you everything you need to know to start making very effective portrait quilts! Yea!
