Pros:
  • good intro to mixed media
Cons:
  • video format not compatible with Windows
As a newcomer to mixed media arts amd crafts, I found this video very informative. It opened my eyes to the possibilities of using these techniques in my other crafts, and for the first time in years I am using paints and other media, and experimenting, and having fun! I have even threaded up my needles again, made my own stamps, and tried melting and fusing all sorts of things I had never thought much about before. Why should men have all the fun with the tools in their sheds? I had trouble playing this video with Vista, and Interweave were not really much help - its the quicktime format itself that causes problems, not actually Interweave's fault.

This was totally awesome and I say that being 62 years old. She is a fantastic instructor I will definetley buy more of Ruth"s videos The one thing that upset me was the video person. after she did the resin, there was no close up , there were several items she made but we didn't get a close up or sometimes no shot at all. watch it and you'll see. other than that I found the class great.Just don"t let me guess on the next one.

I realize that this was one of the first videos that QA produced but I was shocked at how bad the quality was. The content was weak to say the least and I feel this was a real waste of time and money. Do not buy this product.
