Kissing under the mistletoe has been a tradition for centuries! Stitch up your own little bouquet of mistletoe to hang in a doorway or a special spot, and you'll always have the perfect excuse to give your sweetheart a smooch! Required Materials:
- White copy paper and a photocopy machine
- Three different green fabrics, 8" × 8" piece each or 1⁄8 yard each
- Double-sided fusible ultra-firm stabilizer, such as pellon® 72F peltex® II or fast2fuse®, cut into three 4" × 8" pieces
- Sewing machine with free-motion foot
- Variegated green thread for machine sewing
- 1 yard red silk ribbon, 1⁄2" wide
- 1 yard green silk ribbon, 1⁄2" wide
- 1 yard sheer pink silk ribbon, 1⁄2" wide
- 24 white felted wool balls, 1cm (These are available at handbehg.com.)
- Variegated green perle cotton thread
- Embroidery needle
- Mechanical white chalk pencil (pencils by Sewline and Bohin.)
- Small sharp fabric scissors
