I ordered this book, even though I am plus sized and I will have to 'redo' the patterns to fit me. I have been sewing quite a few years, and have worked with similar type patterns for medieval garb, so I was not worried about having to resize the patterns. Most include how to make other sizes, as bust or hip measurement divided by number of pieces around body. There is a good range of dresses, and with a change of fabric, a multitude of options, and given they are straight forward basic shapes, they make a great spring board of further ideas, hence, idea food.
