This is my new go-to pattern for aprons!

Cons:
This pattern just looks complex; it's really pretty easy. The zig-zag contrast is appliqued, not pieced. The instructions say to hand-stitch this, but I did machine applique with good results, much quicker. I had to shorten the neckband significantly (5"), and on one of my two aprons (so far), I omitted the circle appliques. This is the fussiest detail of the pattern and added several hours to the work time, but I like the effect for the one I did that way. Without the circles, this apron works up surprisingly fast and looks just fabulous. Very different from the usual apron pattern!
