I have had this download several months now. I have it on both my macbook and ipad and have watched it over and over again. Judith does an excellent job of describing the mechanics of, and the how and why of plying yarn. She explains technical information about plying in a clear and understandable manner that helps spinners to understand the basics of fabric/fiber construction. In addition, she shows clearly how to ply up to 5 plies of yarn. A truly educational video worth every penny.

This video is in two parts, part 1 explains why plying is in the opposite direction to spinning. It shows how to create Cabled yarns & multi-plys. It also has easy ways of discovering which direction the spin was done in so that you can work out the direction of ply. Part 2 goes into common errors, how to fix them or make them into an interesting feature. It talks about how counting can help to get a consistent ply and how much twist should be in the finished plied yarn.
Quite easy to follow, good tips and tricks and helpful closeups
I am now hopeful that I can get my plying right and have something that looks more like a yarn.
Wow! I could listen to Judith talk all day long. I watched this video in one session. There's a lot to take in and I think this is one I will watch again and again and take something away from it every time. My only problem with this video is that it ended.
