Description

Melissa Wehrle turns the humble rectangle into a dramatic cable-edged coat with the addition of sleeves and carefully plotted trims. Cables, ribs, and eyelets become the collar and deeply textured edgings of Angelica's Coat.

Yarn Weight #4 - Medium
Needles
Body—size 10 (6 mm): 36" circular (cir) or longer. Ribbing—size 9 (5.5 mm): 36" cir. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge
14 sts and 21 rows = 4" in rev St st on larger needles; 14 sts and 22 rows = 4" in double moss st on larger needles; 16 sts and 22 rows = 4" in 2×2 rib on smaller needles after blocking; 29 sts of cable panel measure 7" wide.
