Liesl Gibson, company founder and chief designer for Liesl + Co, trained at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and has worked as a designer for top international fashion brands, including Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. In 2008 she launched, Oliver + S, which produces sewing patterns and fabrics for children's clothing. In 2011 she launched Lisette sewing patterns, which are produced and distributed by Simplicity Creative Group, plus related fabrics. She is the author of Oliver + S Little Things to Sew, which features 20 projects for children's accessories. She lives in New York City.
