The horizontal strands intertwine in this cable pattern, showing the depth of color in a tone-on-tone yarn.

Finished Size: About 18" circumference at brim, 31" circumference at widest point, and 8¼ " tall.
Yarn: Anzula For Better or Worsted (80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 200 yd [183 m]/115 g): avocado, 2 skeins. 
Yarn Weight: #3 - Light 
Needles: Ribbing—size 5 (3.75 mm): 16" circular (cir). Body—size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 
Notions: Markers (m); two cable needles (cn); tapestry needle; 10" plate for blocking. 
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rnds = 4" in St st on larger needle.
