Low-profile I-cord is used as an edging and as an attached treatment to outline and highlight the overlapping panels of the otherwise-simple Aria Shell. A linen blend yarn gives a mostly flat fabric intriguing richness.

Yarn: Berroco Linsey (64% cotton, 36% linen; 114 yd [105 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #6561 dunegrass, 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) skeins.

Yarn Weight: #3 - Light

Neeldes: Panels-size 9 (5.5 mm): 24" circular (cir). Body and edgings-size 7 (4.5 mm): 24-40" cir, depending on size, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 21 sts and 27 rnds = 4" in St st on smaller needle; 19 sts and 23 rows = 4" in St st on larger needle.
