good beginner video Review by Sena Covalt

The presenter discussed a lot of different ideas and demonstrated many of them, so it was very informative and a good idea starter. If you have been art journaling for a while you have probably already tried many of the ideas shown here so this may not be very new to you. For a beginner though, I thought it was very helpful and gave me more ideas for my own pages. It felt like the 60 minutes flew by, and I wish it could have been longer and covered more things but over all it was a good video.

Good introduction Review by Sandra Roberts

I found the presenter a little stiff; she didn't come across on camera as brightly and energetically as she does on her blog and in her artwork. However, the ideas were really solid. I liked having a step-by-step approach to starting an art journal. I also liked her "no rules" rule and encouragement with doodling. This DVD gave me the basics I needed to get started with art journaling and clearly showed some useful techniques to make the process easier. I've shared it with friends who were also starting out with art journaling.
