Description
Inspired by antiquities and artifacts, this necklace is from a series of pendants based on Babylonian signature seals. The Babylonians and Sumerians left their signatures on clay tablets with cylinder seals, small (2???6 cm) cylindrical stones carved with a decorative design. These seals were rolled across a wet clay tablet, leaving an impression used as a means of identifying oneself for use as any signature, confirmation of receipt, or to mark clay tablets and building blocks.
