— ¼ yd (23 cm) of 45" (114.5 cm) wide fabric for shell (Shell; shown: black and pink cotton plaid; see Notes)

— ¼ yd (23 cm) of 45" (114.5 cm) wide cotton print for lining (Lining; shown: pink floral print)

— 8" × 8" (20.5 × 20.5 cm) of cotton fabric for binding (shown: hot pink)

I'm a pretty experienced seamstress, but found this pattern a little strange. Yes, this is cute. However, I felt it was a waste of zippers for such a small item. Also, I didn't the think the directions as to how to finish the very top were very good. A more close up view of the item or a diagram would have been helpful. I'm frustrated that I spent $ on this.
