Composer Béla Bartók's dedication to incorporating folk melodies into modern music inspired the Bartók Tunik's combination of traditional needlework motifs and contemporary fit and detailing. A refined tweed yarn brings unexpected luxury to a rustic sweater.

Finished Size: 32¼ (36¼, 40¼, 44¼, 48¼)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 32¼", modeled with negative ease.

Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Majestic Tweed (40% wool, 20% angora; 20% silk; 20% nylon; 110 yd [100 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #7246 true teal (MC), 7 (8, 8, 9, 10) skeins; #7206 butterscotch (CC), 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) skeins.

Yarn Weight: #4 - Medium

Needles: Body-size 9 (5.5 mm): 32" circular (cir). Hems and neck edging-size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" cir.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4" in St st with larger needle.
