The bias-knit front panels on this tailored corset are similar to a 1950s bathing suit. The top's sleek fit, simple ribs, and discreet rows of eyelets that curve over the bodice give it clean, uncluttered lines. Two-by-two ribbing shapes the back and allows it to cling smoothly without pulling tight. The corset is worked in a smooth and soft-to-the-skin merino while a coordinating silk yarn is used to trim the top edge and make the I-cord spaghetti straps.
