Finished Size Clutch about 6" wide and 3" tall not including handle; larger headband 51" long including 17" ties and 3" wide at widest point; baby headband 13" long including elastic.
Yarn Red Heart LusterSheen (100% acrylic; 335 yd [306 m]/4 oz [113 g]; ): #0518 light mulberry (A), #0227 buttercup (B), and #0615 tea leaf (C), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Coats & Clark.
Yarn Weight #2 - Fine
Hook Size E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; matching sewing thread and needle, or remove 1 ply from MC yarn; 1 1⁄2" snap; 3" of 1⁄4" elastic.
Gauge 30 sts and 28 rows = 4" in sc; 14 sc and 28 rows = 4" in seed st.
