Description
Practice knitting socks from the toe up or from the cuff down with this versatile sock. The simple lace pattern looks great worked in either direction.
Details
Finished Size: About 8 (10)" (20.5 [25.5] cm) foot circumference (unstretched), 9¼ (10¼)" (23 [26] cm) from back of heel to tip of toe, and 6" (15 cm) from top of cuff to start of short-row heel. Leg and foot lengths are adjustable. See pattern for full listing. 
Yarn:  Fingering weight (Super fine #1) Shown here: Schaefer Yarn Nichole (80% extrafine superwash merino wool, 20% nylon; 405 yd [370 m]/5 oz [142 g]): apple green, 1 skein for both sizes. 
Yarn Weight: #1 - Super Fine 
Needles: Size 1.5 (2.5 mm): set of 5 double-pointed (dpn), two circular needles (cir) or one long cir needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle. 
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 2" (5 cm) in St st
