This women's knitted mitts project is sure to keep your hands warm on chilly days. The mitts are worked on the bias. Each begins with a triangular piece at the cuff edge worked back and forth, increasing four times every right-side row, until the piece is wide enough to accommodate the hand; after that they’re worked in the round to the cuff edge, which is finished with a second triangular piece that’s the mirror image of the first. The thumbs are worked afterthought style. The cuff and knuckle edges are finished with a very narrow crocheted border to stabilize them.

71/2" hand circumference and 71/4" length measured from cuff to knuckle edge
