Very pleased Review by Connie S

This book was exactly what I was looking for. I have literature that shows how to do most of these weaves, but most are kind of hard to read. I love that the rings in each step are printed in a different color so it makes it easier to see what the structure actually looks like. I am a very visual learner so this book is perfect for me! Well done!

A Great Resource for Beginning and Experienced Chain Maillers Review by Ann Byassee

I have been working with chain maille for a couple of years and have developed quite a collection of books on the subject, many of which are quite good. I thought this book looked interesting and added it to my collection. As it turns out, it may be the best book on making chain maille I have in my library to date. Ms. Karon's instructions are easy to follow, her explanations are clear, and the photography and artwork are stellar. I love the way the book is organized into types of weaves--Byzantine, European 4-in-1, Persian, etc.--each beginning with the basic weave and building to more complex variations in a logical progression that is ideal for learning. The projects used for illustration and practice are innovative and quite lovely. This book will easily take the beginner from the basics to creating stunning chain maille jewelry and the more experienced chain mailler will find useful tips on technique and ideas for great designs. Color me impressed.
